a friend of mine died this weekend from a heart attack. he was sailing on his boat at the time, alone. a person who knew his boat saw it on a sandbar and figured he was taking a break but when she saw it 2 hours later still there- she called his wife...the coast guard and his wife arrived at his boat about the same time and found my friend.
milt loved boats-was the chair of the local maritime foundation- taught young people all types of things about the water....milt was a good man.
this is a happy thread and i know that milt died doing the very thing he loved on a body of water he loved.
i will miss him but i know that if milt had any choice of where to die- it would be on his sail boat on godfrey bay...
i am happy he got his last wish.
happ to travel by air safely...but the food thing is a bit odd- you can take a salad on board but not with any dressing; a buger as long as it has no mustard or ketchup...these things are "liquids"...they took my breath spray cause it was "liquid"...and i can have 4 packs of matches but not a lighter.
oh well...happy to get where i was going and back home without too much fanfare.
